Cheryl Richards-Mann, President, brings a wealth of highly professional and intensely personal experiences as the basis for how the concept and business practices for Atlanta Home Care Partners, Inc. were developed. A firm believer in the statement, “things happen for a reason,” Ms. Richards-Mann became aware of her growing sensitivity to people’s needs - particularly those of the elderly - largely as a result of a personal bout with cancer which she fought and won. At the same time she became intensely involved in providing care for her husband’s aging parents.
“This was a breakthrough,” Ms. Richards-Mann says. “I began to realize that as baby boomers, caring for our aging parents was a primary issue…. and that someone had to do something about the fact that our parents, increasingly, want to remain at home and be independent as long as they possibly can. I was determined to find a way to make addressing this topic less difficult.” Partnering with her husband, Lewis, an accomplished financial executive with a heart of gold, Ms. Richards-Mann took her ideas and her dreams of making a difference in the lives of others and has turned those into reality. Today, Atlanta Home Care Partners, Inc. is on the cutting edge of high quality services for the elderly who choose to remain at home. “My background in customer satisfaction, in striving for quality, and my sensitivity for the aged all came together in this somehow,” she states. “We intend to make a real difference in the way these special people spend their later years…. a very positive difference.”
