Prior to recommending an appropriate level of services, Atlanta Home Care Partners, Inc. may recommend a Comprehensive Professional Geriatric Assessment, conducted by one of the agency’s partner Geriatric Care Professionals.

Our caregivers are available 365 days each year, on a 24/7 basis to provide competent, caring assistance in the comfort of home - when you need it.

    ABOUT THE CAREGIVERS
  • The screening process utilized is a rigorous, 3-step process involving 3 separate, professional entities. References are thoroughly checked.
  • Immigration validation.
  • State and national criminal background checks are also conducted.
  • Motor vehicle records are checked.
  • Driver's license and driving record is checked.
  • A credit check is conducted.
  • Caregivers are checked for current automobile insurance coverage.
  • TB testing is conducted.
  • Drug and alcohol testing is conducted.
  • Thorough orientation and training are provided to every caregiver.
  • Screening and selection of caregivers is one of our most critical tasks. All Atlanta Home Care Partners caregivers are employees of the agency. The agency assumes all responsibilities for payroll taxes, benefits, scheduling, bonding, insurance and worker’s compensation.

    TELEPHONY SYSTEM
  • Immediate caregiver accountability.
  • Caregivers record their arrival and departure via a toll-free number from the client's telephone
  • Time billed equals time the caregivers are actually working in the home
  • Timecards are unnecessary
  • Advanced technology is utilized to assure caregivers are always on time.

    EMERGENCY RESPONSE SYSTEM
  • A small pendant serves as a "fall detector" allowing the system to detect a fall and automatically place an emergency call for assistance.
  • If the system is activated, there is a "convenience calling" feature that allows hands-free phone answering and two-way conversation without being near the phone.
  • This system provides dependable security.
  • The agency utilizes a 24-hour personal monitoring system.
