Sally WinterCongratulations to Sally Winter, our Employee of the Month! Sally has been with Atlanta Home Care Partners since 2017. She is currently on the Care Management Team helping develop and facilitate care plans, assisting and educating families on available programs and procedures, assisting with interviews and new client assessments, serving as the liaison between clients and staff and serving as our occasional party planner. Sally previously worked for almost 20 years at Decatur First United Methodist Church, where she worked with AHCP owners Cheryl and Lewis Mann on the Senior Adult Council where they put on an annual dinner for over 300 people to celebrate church members 90 years old and over. Sally is a people person and enjoys getting to know our caregivers and clients on a personal level. Sally graduated from the University of Georgia with a degree in Early Childhood Education. After a few years in the education field, she switched gears to helping seniors when her parents began aging. Sally felt the call to transition to elder care while working at the church and visiting with the seniors making hospital visits. She loves conversing with our clients and hearing about their life stories. Sally is an Atlanta native and currently lives in a condo in Buckhead. She is lucky to have her brother and her sister in Marietta, along with her “niece and nephew” cuddly Havanese pups, Lily and Logan. In her free time, Sally enjoys being with her family and friends, cooking, and traveling, and she has never met a craft she didn’t attempt to conquer. She has been a Sunday School teacher at Peachtree Road United Methodist Church for 16 years, a Girl Scout troop leader for the last 9 years and a reader at our local elementary school. We’re honored to have her as part of our team!

Congratulations to our Caregiver of the Month, Diane Cox! Diane has been caregiving for over 25 years, and loves putting a smile on someone’s face. Her caring nature began at an early age, helping her mom on her job years ago. She was born in Trinidad, migrated to New York, moved to Florida, and then settled in Georgia in 1996. She attended Niagara University, majoring in travel, transportation & tourism, and also became an ordained minister seven years ago. In her spare time, she loves traveling, playing volleyball, cooking, gardening, planting flowers, enjoying nature and walking on the beach. But her real passion is in helping people, believing we were put here not to be selfish but to share our love, talents, and blessings. We are certainly blessed to have her as part of the Atlanta Home Care Partners team!
